- Sunbrella is one the most commonly used marine fabrics. For the proper care of Sunbrella Fabric from Glen Raven Mills, inc., download this Acrobat PDF file, Sunbrella Care and Cleaning (21 Kb). Includes stain removal tips!
- To clean carpet or floor runners that are made of Sunbrella fabric, wash only in cold water using a mild soap (we suggest Murphy Soap) that you can purchase in any grocery store. If using a washing machine, spin water out, then remove and air dry. Do not place in dryer, this will cause then to shrink approximately 30%, (then you will be calling us to fabricate new ones for you).
- Keep zippers in good working condition by cleaning on a regular basis (we suggest once a month) and spraying them lightly with silicone or a small amount of WD-40.
- Keep snaps from sticking by putting a little dab of petroleum jelly on the button side and then snapping together.
- If seams are leaking on your Bimini or Navy top, take a small brush with waterproofing and apply to areas that are leaking (make sure that the top is completely dry). That should do the trick. We sell weather proofing to do the job.
